Homemade Cranberry Sauce

Directions

  1. Rinse cranberries in a colander and discard any bruised or spoiled berries.

  2. In a medium saucepan, bring 1 cup of water to a boil. Add the sugar and stir until dissolved.

  3. Add the cranberries and boil for about 10 minutes. Take off heat and let sit covered for about 30 minutes.

  4. Transfer into a serving bowl, cover, and refrigerate for at least 4 hours. The sauce tastes great if made one day ahead!
